Abigail (“Abee”)

Abigail Angkawijaya believes that pilates is a vehicle for humans to learn how to use their body properly, pain-free and strong. As a former competitive swimmer and martial arts practitioner, she discovered pilates as an effective solution for her own sports injuries.

With 20 years of experience as a certified instructor, Abigail (also known as 姐 Abee) is currently Senior Faculty representing BASI Pilates in Southeast Asia. She runs multiple successful studios including BASI Pilates Academy West Java in Bandung, BASI Pilates Studio Bali in Canggu, and Hava Pilates & Gyrotonic Studio in Jakarta. She conducts multi-level BASI Pilates Teachers Training across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the United States.

When not teaching or practicing her passion, Abigail enjoys spending time in nature with her family and fur babies at home.
